Account and Data Deletion
Last updated: July 23, 2026
You can request deletion of your Denge account and personal data. This page explains how to make the request, how long it takes, which data is deleted, and which records are retained and for how long.
1. How to request it in the app
Open the Denge app and sign in. Go to the Profile tab in the bottom menu, tap “Delete account and data”, then press “I want to delete my account” and confirm. Your request is recorded immediately and its status is shown on screen.
2. If you cannot access the app
If you cannot sign in, write to dayanyucel0304@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account. Once your identity is verified we will start the request on your behalf.
3. How long does it take?
After the request your account stays marked for deletion for 14 days. You can cancel the request from the app during this period. At the end of the 14 days deletion runs automatically; no further confirmation is required.
4. Data that is deleted
When deletion completes the following are permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymised: full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, biological sex, city, professional title, clinic name, biography, profile photo and licence number; all health data (height, weight and other measurements, diseases, allergies, medications, dietary preferences, disliked foods, session notes, nutrition plans, meal and water tracking records, badges); appointments; session records and push notification tokens. Afterwards these records cannot be linked to any identifiable person.
5. Records that are retained, and for how long
Payment records (transaction id, amount, date, package name) and audit records of administrator actions are not deleted; they are retained for the period required by tax and commercial law (as a rule 10 years under the Turkish Commercial Code). These records contain no health data and are kept solely to meet legal obligations. Database backups are retained for 7 days and then deleted automatically, so deleted data also disappears from backups within 7 days at the latest.
6. Your subscription and client data
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your Google Play or App Store subscription; you must cancel it separately through that store. If a dietitian's account is deleted, their clients keep their rights over their own data; clients can request deletion of their own accounts through the same steps. You can also delete individual records (for example a measurement, a plan or a client record) inside the app without deleting your whole account, or request this by writing to dayanyucel0304@gmail.com.
